The problem with being vague…

The offical marking criteria for ASS#1

There seems to be a lot of confusion around the marking criteria for Assignment 1. In business I am a big believer that when you have a problem you should provide a solution. Your solution may not be correct but its better than complaining you don’t like a something.

The way the Assignment 1 steps and marking criteria have been laid out provides a contradicting and confusing situation. This in turn has lead people who thought they had followed the steps correctly to receive a mark that wasn’t truly reflective of the score they received. Ultimately it would have only been a few marks, however if improved may lead to a better outcome in the future.

In turn, perhaps the marking criteria can be improved to allow clear steps to be followed.

I have update the marking criteria to what I believe would have given clear processes and steps to follow within the document.

Looking forward to others input.
